Content in The Academic Village will be shared as an "offering", not put forth as an "agenda". Successful agendas require a kind of "one-note approach" that I don't intend to provide in this space over time.
Just the opposite of the one-note theme, the "law of accumulating minorities" may need permanent attachment to the file cabinet-- you know, the maxim that reminds us that advancing a wide array of ideas can gradually build opposition, as single groups with specific issues grow into large groups with specific issues :)
So please receive any and all material on this page in the spirit of "for what it's worth." Some times you may appreciate an item, wanting to pass it on or put it into practice; in other cases you might decide it's neither here nor there; and in a few instances --hopefully just a few-- your reaction to a piece could find you organizing some sort of "save the classroom" opposition group.
As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. With this in mind, let this new nexus for free flowing ideas on supporting students, parents, and educators along their academic journey begin .... Now!
